From waterproof termination of large-diameter cables and cold shrinkage to EMC noise countermeasures.
We address wiring challenges in substation equipment, underground installations, and outdoor infrastructure.
Substation equipment, underground installations, outdoor infrastructure, and plant facilities require high voltage, high current, waterproofing, and weather resistance simultaneously. There are unique challenges that differ from general industrial applications, such as on-site construction constraints and retrofitting existing cables.
Cable termination and waterproof insulation for substation equipment and distribution boards
Protection of large-diameter cable joints (high voltage, high current)
Termination in environments where heat sources cannot be used during on-site construction (cold shrinkage)
EMC noise interference with inverters and control systems
Waterproof capping of cable ends and connections
Heat Shrinkable Cap HSECWaterproof insulation protection for large-diameter cable joints and ends
Large Diameter Heat Shrinkable Tubing CDMTermination and retrofitting on-site without heat sources
Cold Shrinkable Tubing DFCEMC noise countermeasures for substation equipment and control systems
Shielding Tube ATS (Retrofit compatible)
Heat Shrinkable Cap HSEC
For waterproof capping of cable ends and connections. Achieves insulation, waterproofing, and corrosion protection with reliable sealing.

Large Diameter Heat Shrinkable Tubing CDM (with adhesive)
Supports joints and terminations of large-diameter cables. High-shrinkage tubing with adhesive for excellent waterproofing and adhesion.

Cold Shrinkable Tubing DFC
Can be installed without a heat source. Ideal for retrofitting existing cables or for termination in environments where fire is prohibited.

Shielding Tube ATS
Can be installed as a retrofit without cutting cables. For EMC noise countermeasures in substation equipment and control systems.
In the power and infrastructure sector, there are many requests for large-diameter cable termination and waterproofing of connections. Especially for underground and outdoor facilities, long-term weather resistance is required, and in some construction sites, heat sources cannot be used. Recently, there have been many requests for improved workability, and simplifying construction methods is also a major theme.
Denka Electron, Managing Director
When removing underground OF cables, oil leakage occurred, causing environmental pollution and requiring extensive cleaning. It was necessary to consider a removal method that prevented oil leakage.
When we consulted with Denka Electron, they proposed HSEC tubing and YHKM tubing. We were able to realize a removal method that minimized oil leakage risk while accommodating on-site constraints.
Let us know your application and environment, and we will propose the optimal products. Feel free to request samples.
