January 1970 (Showa 45)
Founded Former Representative Director Koji Maesako establishes Denka Shoji as a private business. Begins selling electrical insulating materials, heat-resistant wires, and cable accessories, and manufacturing mark tubes.
July 1979 (Showa 54)
Reorganized as a corporation with 1 million yen in capital. Representative Director Koji Maesako changes the company name to Denka Shoji Co., Ltd.
December 1979 (Showa 54)
Separates manufacturing division (company name: Denka Electron) and begins manufacturing mark tubes using a computer system.
July 1985 (Showa 60)
Capital Increase Capital increased to 10 million yen.
Heisei Era
August 1994 (Heisei 6)
Chairman of the Board Koji Maesako and Representative Director Yoshiyuki Maesako are appointed at the Board of Directors meeting.
July 1995 (Heisei 7)
Head Office Relocation Head office relocated from Kanda Awajicho to Kanda Ogawamachi.
August 1996 (Heisei 8)
Manufacturing division becomes Denka Electron Co., Ltd., and operates as an independent accounting entity.
April 1997 (Heisei 9)
Patent Jointly files our 16th noise-related patent with Matsushita Communication Industrial Co., Ltd. Used as video-related components for the Winter Nagano Olympics.
January 1998 (Heisei 10)
Web Launched Denka Electron Co., Ltd. launches a website and publicly shares information on EMI countermeasures nationwide.
March 1999 (Heisei 11)
Patent Applies for 8 patents related to recycling electrical product components.
December 2000 (Heisei 12)
Main business shifts to manufacturing, and the company name is unified to Denka Electron Co., Ltd. from Denka Shoji Co., Ltd.
June 2005 (Heisei 17)
Overseas Base Full operation of Shenzhen, China factory and operation of Shenzhen, China office.
September 2005 (Heisei 17)
Capital Increase Capital increased to 100 million yen.
May 2006 (Heisei 18)
Establishes Ooi Logistics Center to strengthen logistics.
August 2006 (Heisei 18)
Head Office Relocation Head office relocated from Kanda Ogawamachi to Ginza.

Purchases injection molding machine (300t class). Further enhances manufacturing of eco-friendly products.
